Counter-Notification Process

If you believe your content was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notice must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material and its location before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, phone number, and consent to federal court jurisdiction
  • Agreement to accept service of process from the original claimant

Repeat Infringer Policy

It is MemoryShare's policy, in appropriate circumstances, to terminate the accounts of members who are repeat infringers or are repeatedly charged with infringement.

User Responsibilities

All users agree to:

  • Only upload content they own or have permission to use
  • Respect copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights
  • Not upload content that infringes on others' rights
  • Understand that violations may result in content removal and account termination

Response Timeline

We are committed to processing copyright notices efficiently:

  • Initial Response: Within 72 hours of receiving a complete notice
  • Content Review: Within 5-10 business days
  • Action Taken: Valid claims result in immediate content removal
  • User Notification: Content uploaders are notified within 24 hours of removal
